Fake loan apps are spreading fast on Google Play Store and social media. They promise instant money without much verification, but once you install them, they steal your contacts, photos, and personal data. Later, they misuse this information for blackmail, threats, and extortion.

- You install an app that says “Instant Loan Approval.”
- It asks for permissions – contacts, gallery, storage.
- You get ₹1,000–₹5,000 easily.
- Within days, fake agents start harassing you – “Pay now or we’ll leak your photos!”
